We were thrilled to be a part of this beautiful renovation of Bulkeley House from a 16-bedroom B&B to a stylish seven-bedroom family home. The grade II-listed property, believed to have been built by Admiral Bulkeley in 1750, fuses elegant country house style with state-of-the-art technology, including a bespoke home cinema and integrated audio system. Another one of Equippd’s projects that sympathetically combines both old and new, original features such as 12-pane sash windows, high ceilings, decorative cornicing and fireplaces are blended with modern touches like underfloor heating. The thoughtfully designed living space is perfect for both formal and informal entertaining. Wireless speakers in all the principal reception rooms, from the magnificent drawing room to the billiards room, help create the right ambience, whether it’s for a small gathering or a large party. The separate gym and large steam room is housed in an attractive building to the side of the main house – all connected to music and TV as standard.
